Amit Kumar Das is a Senior SDET at Morgan Stanley with over 7 years of experience in manual and automation testing of web-based applications and Restful API using Java, Selenium Webdriver, RESTAssured, and TestNG. He has also worked on performance testing using Apache Jmeter and Apache Benchmark. Amit has developed frameworks using techniques like Page Object Model, Keyword-driven, Data-driven, and Hybrid Framework. Amit has used Git for version control system (VCS) that is used for software development and other version control tasks. He has worked in CI/CD processes with JENKINS and has worked on Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. Amit has good knowledge of automating mobile native apps using Appium and SQL. He has experience on Mac OS, Linux (Ubuntu and CentOS) and has good exposure to STLC and Bug Life Cycle. Amit has experience in defect/test management tools like JIRA and BugZilla. He is currently working at Morgan Stanley as a Senior SDET. He has also worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at GE Oil & Gas and as an SDET-2 at Snapdeal. At Snapdeal, Amit was responsible for test case development and execution for functional testing. He prepared automated scripts using Selenium Web Driver, RESTAssured, and TestNG. He developed project-related frameworks and implemented different automation frameworks like Page Objects Model, Keyword Driven framework, Data Driven framework, and Hybrid framework. Amit completed his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering (CEB), Bhubaneswar, in 2011. He completed his 12th Board from Ispat English Medium School in 2007 and his 10th Board from the same school in 2005.
